# Frequently Asked Questions

## What is HoloScope?

The trading and intelligence terminal for onchain collectibles.

## Is HoloScope a marketplace?

No. HoloScope aggregates discovery, research, and execution across connected marketplaces. The cards stay on those marketplaces until you buy them.

## Which marketplaces are connected?

Collector Crypt, Phygitals, and Beezie. Courtyard and other major collectible markets will follow.

## Which cards can I trade?

Graded and raw Pokemon cards listed on the connected marketplaces. Most of the market is graded slabs from PSA, BGS, CGC, and SGC.

## What are the fees?

HoloScope charges 1% on a buy and 1% on a sell. Marketplace fees are separate, and your quote shows the total. See [Fees and Referrals](/holoscope/ecosystem/fees-and-referrals.md).

## How do I add money?

Deposit SOL to your HoloScope wallet. It becomes your trading balance within seconds, with a little kept for network fees and a 0.1% conversion fee. USDC deposits work too. See [Deposits, Gas, and Withdrawals](/holoscope/product/deposits-and-gas.md).

## Do I need to manage SOL for gas?

No. The gas guard keeps enough SOL for network fees by topping it up from your trading balance, and tells you each time. You can switch it off or change its amounts in Settings.

## How do I withdraw?

From the wallet panel on your profile, as USDC or SOL, to any Solana address. Each withdrawal needs two-factor.

## Do I need a crypto wallet first?

No. Sign in with Google, X, or email, and a Solana wallet is created for you. You can also sign in with a wallet you already use.

## What is a HoloScope Estimate?

The value supported by matching completed sales from the relevant grader and grade.

## Why can a large discount have a low score?

Because thin, stale, volatile, or weak evidence makes the opportunity less reliable.

## What does a rarity tier mean?

It describes relative graded scarcity using the card's reported exact-grade population, higher-grade supply, and eligible gem-rate evidence. It is not the card's printed rarity or a valuation. The number is a score out of 100, not a probability or market-wide percentile. See [Graded Rarity](/holoscope/intelligence/graded-rarity.md).

## Why is a listing missing?

The feed shows active cards that HoloScope can price with enough evidence for that exact grade. A card without enough sales stays out instead of borrowing a price from another grade.

## How do limit orders work?

Set a card, a price, and how many copies you want. When a matching listing appears at or below your price, HoloScope tries to buy it from your balance. See [Limit Orders and Bids](/holoscope/product/orders-and-bids.md).

## Can I bid on a card that isn't listed?

Yes, on Collector Crypt and Phygitals. Your USDC is held in escrow and comes back if the bid is cancelled or expires. Beezie doesn't take bids.

## What is HyperScope?

The fast lane for flips. It reads listings straight from Solana, shows what each could resell for, and offers one-click buys and sniper orders. See [HyperScope](/holoscope/product/hyperscope.md).

## Are alerts live?

Yes, in the browser, in the app, and through the Telegram bot [@holoscopetrade\_bot](/holoscope/product/telegram-bot.md). An alert can also buy for you if you attach a limit.

## Can I use HoloScope on my phone?

Yes. The terminal runs in a mobile browser, and the Telegram bot carries your alerts.

## How do I get the physical card?

Redemption goes through the marketplace that holds the card. Check its terms and costs first.

## Are giveaways open?

Not yet. You earn Holo Points on confirmed trades today, and they will be your entries when giveaways open. See [Holo Points and Giveaways](/holoscope/product/giveaways.md).

## Is $HOLO live?

No. Anyone offering it today is not HoloScope. Launch details and the mint address will come only through official channels.

## What does the flywheel do?

After $HOLO launches, it is planned to use eligible fee revenue for $HOLO buybacks and permanent burns while building protocol-owned liquidity. None of this is active yet.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://holoscope-trade.gitbook.io/holoscope/direction/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
